Magnetic Bracelet Therapy

Aside from using a tape or bandage to keep the magnet in place, there are also magnetic products which can be used daily, like shoe insoles, head inserts, mattress, and magnetic jewelries like bracelet, necklaces, rings, and earrings. There are also therapists who would use hand-held magnets and move them around the body or specific areas that need treatment. However, this weakness may be caused by a chronic infection or inflammation. It can still improve with the south-pointing pole. In general, south-pointing pole is less harmful if applied incorrectly. Some people do not feel the magnet energy, while others are hypersensitive. Use only a weak magnet in this case for a short exposure. Aside from pain relief, magnet therapy are also anti-inflammatory, anti-ageing, and helps the injury to heal faster. There are several magnetic products that patients could easily wear to fit the injured areas. There are bracelets which could work on joints and muscles in the hand and wrists. There are also necklaces, rings, and earrings which a person could easily slip on. In those times, however, the right sizes and weights of magnets that can produce noticeable effects are rare. At the end of the 20th century, smaller and stronger magnetic materials became available. This led to the development of modern-day magnetic therapy products. How it works First, the body produces small electromagnetic fields by the movement of charged particles called ions. By applying magnets on the surface of the affected area, the magnetic field relaxes the capillary walls of the body s cells resulting to increase blood flow to that part of the body and at the same time prevents the flow of liquids outside the cells which help control the pain. Some also claims that the same magnetic field disrupts muscle contractions preventing muscle spasms to occur. Those horse-shoe magnets that we often see in comics and cartoons are useless for magnet therapies. The most common magnets for therapeutic use are the flat ceramic magnets or at best the neodymium magnets. Neodymiums are stronger magnets than the ceramic types and are probably the best ones for therapeutic use.
